Welcome to the African Centre of Excellence in Bioinformatics (ACE-B)

            The African Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics (ACE-B), is the first one launched at the University of Sciences, Techniques, and Technology of Bamako (USTTB) in Mali, with the support of National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID/NIH), Malian government, private sector companies, and the Foundation for the NIH (FNIH). The ACE-B provides high-performance scientific computing infrastructure and serves as a platform for sharing skills, knowledge, and best practices between members of the global biomedical research in West Africa.

Whether your interest is in Genomics, Bioinformatics or data sciences, ACE-B will provide you with different training programs to meet your needs, as well as opportunities to develop a research carrier – all in a bilingual environment. We offer Master as well as PhD programs in Bioinformatics in collaboration with the pan African Bioinformatics network (H3ABioNet), University of Strasbourg ( France), Tulane University (USA) and the NIAID/NIH (USA).
